Pefco Foundry

Down in the Bhosari Industrial Area at E-14, you'll find us. We're right near the Philips building, which everyone knows. It’s noisy around here because of all the factories, and our place is no different. We run a foundry called Pefco. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months when the furnaces are going full blast. We spend most of our time on the floor, dealing with moulds and molten metal. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean for long. We’ve got a crew that’s been doing this for years, and they know the routine. We don't bother with fancy offices or polished reception areas. Most of the space is taken up by the equipment and the sand we use for the casting process. It’s an honest way to make a living, even if it’s tough on the body every day. We get orders from all over, but we like being part of the Pune industrial belt. Sometimes things go wrong with a pour, and we have to start over, but that’s just part of the business. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just take the specs, do the casting, and try to get it out the door on time. The traffic in Bhosari can be a nightmare for the trucks, but we manage. If you come by to see us, expect some dust and the smell of hot metal. It’s just how it is.
