We are located over at Zubaida Manzil, down the 4th Cross of P P Lane in Bibwewadi. Our family has been dealing with steel for a long time. It’s a heavy business. We have pipes, rods, and sheets stacked up in the warehouse space. It’s noisy when the trucks are loading or unloading, especially in that narrow lane. We spend most of the day measuring metal and cutting it to size for local builders or people fixing up their houses. It’s dusty work and your hands get rough, but it pays the bills. My uncle started this place, and I’ve been here since I finished school. We don't have a fancy office, just a desk with a lot of papers and a phone that rings quite a bit. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the clanking sound of steel, but we try to keep the work within reasonable hours. People know if they need a specific piece of metal, they can just come down the lane and find us. We don’t use any big marketing tricks. We just show the material and tell the price. It’s a practical way to run things. The building itself is an old one, and it gets a bit hot in the afternoons under the tin roof, but we have a fan. It’s just a regular local business doing what we know best.
