Patel Engineering Co

Patel Engineering Co is over in Pimpri at Shop No 22. We are in the Jai Ganesh Varadhasta Building, which is just off the Mumbai Pune Road. Most people find us by looking for the Dr Ambedkar Statue nearby, as it’s a big landmark. The shop is a typical engineering spot. It’s got that smell of metal and machine oil that never really goes away. We spend most of our hours working on different bits of machinery or talking to folks who bring in parts to be fixed. It’s not a clean or quiet place. There is usually some machine running or the sound of someone hammering away. The building is quite busy with other businesses too. We’ve been in Shop No 22 for a while, and the walls show a bit of that history with stains and scratches. We don’t have a fancy reception or anything. You just walk in and we talk over the counter. Sometimes we have a lot of work piled up and other days it’s a bit slower. We just take it as it comes. Being near the main road is helpful for getting things delivered, though the traffic can be a pain. It’s just an honest place where we do what we know how to do. We don't bother with fancy displays. The focus is always on the machines and the work right in front of us.
