We’ve been running Patel Battery Agency in the Bhakti Nagar area of Warje for quite some time. It’s just a regular shop filled with batteries for cars, bikes, and those home inverters everyone needs when the power goes out. The floor is usually a bit stained from old casings, and there's always that faint smell of lead and acid around. It's just part of the job. People usually show up when their car won't start in the morning and they’re already late for work. We try to test the old battery first to see if it just needs a good charge or if it’s really dead. No point in spending money if you don't have to. We carry a few different brands, whatever is available and works okay. It's mostly me and a helper here during the day. We handle the installations ourselves, right there on the side of the road if we have to. It's not a big corporate place with fancy waiting rooms. You get your battery, we swap it out, and you go on your way. Sometimes the shop gets cramped when a new shipment arrives and boxes are stacked everywhere. We’ve known the families around Warje for years now. It’s a steady business. Just a local spot doing what needs to be done. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are when they need us. We just keep our heads down and work.
