Parnali Pan Center

If you happen to be down in New Sangvi 2, you will probably come across Parnali Pan Center. It is a small little spot tucked away between some taller buildings. We have been running this shop for a good amount of time. It is not some big company thing, just a local family-run business. We do all the work ourselves without any extra help. This includes cutting the nuts, washing the leaves properly, and making sure everything is ready before the customers show up. New Sangvi is mostly a residential neighborhood, so we see the same people day after day. It is nice to know everyone’s face and say hello. We sell many different types of pan, some are sweet and others are more traditional. We also keep some snacks and bottles of water in the shop. The space is quite small so we have to stay organized or everything becomes a big mess very quickly. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon and it gets a bit dark, but we just keep a torch nearby and keep working. We are not trying to be the biggest or the most famous shop in town. We just want to do our daily job and then go home to our families. People often stop by to chat about the local news or the weather while we prepare their pan for them. It makes the long day go by a lot faster for us.
