Parekh Foods

Parekh Foods is sitting right on Ahmednagar Road 33/A in the Khondhwa part of town. We handle a lot of different food items. Some are packaged snacks and others are things we pack ourselves. It’s a busy road, so there’s always noise from the trucks and cars passing by. The shop is more like a small warehouse in some ways. We have crates stacked up with different supplies. Most of our work involves moving boxes around and checking the inventory. People from the local eateries come here to pick up what they need for their kitchens. It’s not a place where you’d find fancy displays. We just have the shelves and the counter. I’ve been working at 33/A for a long time. The dust from the road is a bit of a pain, so we are always wiping down the counters. We have a few staff members who help with the heavy lifting and the deliveries. It’s a straightforward business. We open up around nine and stay until the evening. Khondhwa has changed a lot, with more shops popping up everywhere, but we’ve stayed in the same spot. We don't really have a website or anything like that. People just know us by word of mouth or they see the sign when they're driving down Ahmednagar Road. It’s just us doing our daily work, keeping the food supplies moving to where they need to go every single day.
