Our office is on the second floor of Prestige Plaza, right there on the Mumbai Pune Road in Akurdi. It’s a busy building, and there is always someone coming or going in the hallways. We are in office number one, which makes it easy to find once you get up the stairs. Most of our day is spent staring at computer screens dealing with CAD software and technical drawings. It sounds more exciting than it is, but we enjoy the puzzle of it all. The computers generate a fair amount of heat, so we keep the windows open when the weather allows. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic from the main road, but you stop noticing it after the first hour. We aren't some big tech giant with bean bags and free snacks. It is just a workspace with some desks, good internet, and enough coffee to keep us going. We help people figure out their design software issues and try to make sense of complicated projects. Sometimes the software acts up, and we have to spend hours troubleshooting, which can be frustrating. But that’s the nature of the work. We just try to be helpful and get the job done right. It’s a small group of us here, and we’ve been working together long enough to know how each other takes their tea and how we handle the pressure.
