Pankaj Varieties Steel Centre is right here in Dapodi Kavade Nagar. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. Most days it is just us managing the shelves and checking that the steel pots and pans are stacked right. People from the neighborhood stop by when they need a new tiffin box or a sturdy bucket for the bathroom. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop with stacks of stainless steel items everywhere you look. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the aisles, especially when new stock arrives and we are trying to find space for everything. We spend a lot of time organizing the spoons and smaller containers so folks can find what they need without searching too hard. The building is simple and we know most of the faces that walk through the door. If someone needs a specific size of a cooking pot, we usually have it buried somewhere in the back or right out front. We keep the lights on and the doors open from morning until late evening. It is just honest work, selling things that families actually use every day in their kitchens. No one here wears a suit or uses big words. We just talk to the customers and show them what we have on the racks. Dealing with steel means things can get noisy when we move stuff around, but that is just how it goes in a place like this. We just keep the shop open and hope people find what they are looking for.
