PANATRON INFOTECH SYSTEMS is up on the second floor of Sagar Arcade, which is right on FC Road in Pune. If you know Pune, you know FC Road is one of the most crowded and energetic streets in the city. There are students everywhere from the colleges nearby, and there’s always something happening. Sagar Arcade is an older building, so it has a bit of character. Getting up to the second floor is a bit of a workout if the lift is busy, which it usually is. Our office is a functional space. We’ve got rows of computers and a small area for meetings that usually just turns into another desk for hardware. It’s not a polished corporate office. We’ve got wires running along the ceiling and boxes of components stacked against the walls. The noise from the street below filters up, so you always hear the honking and the chatter of the crowds. It keeps us awake during those long afternoon stretches. We’ve been part of the FC Road scene for a long time. It’s a great spot because everything you need is right outside the door. We don’t bother with fancy signs or expensive furniture. We just focus on the tech work we have to do. It’s a busy, somewhat chaotic environment, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It feels like being in the heart of the city every single day.
