Page Maker

Page Maker is located in Kasba Peth on Kazi Syed Street, which is a place full of history and narrow lanes. Our office is in the Pratibha Vihar Society, and being so close to Shaniwar Wada means we are always surrounded by the old soul of the city. The air here feels different, and there’s a constant hum of activity from the nearby markets and homes. Inside, the machines are usually running, and the smell of paper and ink is everywhere. We spend our days designing layouts and making sure the pages look right before they go out. It’s a lot of staring at screens and checking small details that most people might not even notice. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine gets jammed, and we have to spend the afternoon tinkering with things to get them back on track. We aren't a big fancy agency; we’re just a small team in Kasba Peth trying to do good work for the people who come to see us. The neighborhood is tight-knit, so we often end up chatting with neighbors while we’re out getting snacks or taking a quick break from the computers. It’s a busy, cramped, and noisy way to work, but it’s our routine and we’ve grown to love the chaos of Kazi Syed Street. We just keep our heads down and keep the pages moving through the press every single day without much fuss.
