Padmaja Caterers

Padmaja Caterers is based at 53, Siddharth Nagar. We are over in Gujrat Colony, which is right by the Kothrud Depot. Being near the depot means it’s always busy around here with buses and people. Our place is tucked away in the colony. It’s a local setup. We do all our cooking and planning from here. Siddharth Nagar is a quiet enough spot once you get off the main road. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The kitchen is the main part of the place. There is usually a smell of spices or something boiling on the stove. We aren't a big commercial factory. It’s just a group of us working hard to get the orders right. We use the space we have and it works well for us. Most of the neighbors know us because of the vans coming and going. We started out small and just kept going from this same spot. It’s not a fancy office with a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone in an apron. We like being in Kothrud. It’s a solid neighborhood with a lot of families. We don't do much advertising. People usually just hear about us from someone else. It’s a simple life of making food and making sure it gets where it needs to go. We keep our pots scrubbed and our counters clean, and that is what matters to us most of the time.
