P. N. Fruits & Exports

P. N. Fruits & Exports is based out of Anmol Apartment, right in the middle of Shaniwar Peth. Our flat is 268/C. If you know Shaniwar Peth, you know it is always crowded and there is a lot of history in these streets. We deal with various fruits, mostly getting them from the growers and seeing where they can be sent. It is a lot of coordination because fruit goes bad so fast. I spend a lot of time checking the state of the fruit and making sure the crates are packed right. The apartment is mostly used for the office work and meeting a few people. We have to be quick with the logistics, especially during the mango season or when the grapes are ready. It gets very busy and my phone never stops ringing. We do not have a big fancy office with glass walls. It is just a regular room with some computers and a lot of fruit crates stacked up downstairs. Shaniwar Peth is a great location because we are close to the markets. I usually have a cup of coffee at the local stall while I wait for the trucks to arrive. We have been doing this for a few years now. It is a tough business because you are always at the mercy of the weather and the transport timing. We just try to keep it moving and stay on top of the orders we have.
