P. G. Herekar is tucked away in J.K. Market at 510 Budhwar Peth. If you know this area at all, you know how crowded and lively it gets every single day. The market is full of energy, and we are right in the middle of all that noise. Our space is not very large, but we make the most of every inch we have. It is a traditional kind of setup where we have been for many years. We do not have a big marketing plan or a social media page to show off. Most of our business comes from people walking through the market or long-time customers who already have our number saved. Inside the shop, there are stacks of things everywhere, and it might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is kept. It is a bit of a maze in Budhwar Peth, but once you find J.K. Market, we are not too hard to spot. We spend a lot of time talking to customers and moving our stock around. There is no air conditioning here, just the old ceiling fans keeping the air moving as we work. We are not trying to be anything fancy or modern. We just open up in the morning, do our work, and close up when the market finally slows down in the evening. It is the way things have always been.
