Aashhish Pllast

Down on New Urse Road in Vadgaon Maval, we have our setup at S.No. 114/1-2A. It’s a bit of a drive out here compared to the city center, but it gives us the space we need for Aashhish Pllast. The area is still developing, so there’s a lot of open land and wind kicking up dust around the gate. Inside the building, though, it’s a different story. The machines have a specific hum that you eventually get used to after a few hours on the floor. It’s not the cleanest work in the world, but we don't mind getting our hands dirty with the material. We usually start the shifts early to beat the worst of the afternoon heat that settles over the valley. There’s a lot of walking back and forth between the storage section and the machines. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we all just sit outside on the concrete steps and wait for it to come back on. It’s a good time to catch up on local news or just relax for a minute. We don't really bother with big office meetings or any of that corporate talk. We just focus on the plastic and making sure the cycles are running like they should. My cousin helps out with the paperwork at a small wooden desk tucked in the corner. Most of the people working here live nearby, so it feels like a local crew.
