Oriental Furniture

If you take a walk down Chowkhandi Road in Sadashiv Peth, you will eventually see Oriental Furniture. We are located at number 570, which is right near Gokhale Hall. It is a pretty well-known spot in this particular part of town. Our shop is packed with all sorts of different pieces we have brought in over the months. It is definitely not a shiny or modern showroom. It is more of a place where the smell of wood and fabric is the main thing you notice. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy items around to make enough room for new stock. Sometimes the floor gets a bit dusty, but that is just part of the trade we are in. We have been here for a long time, and the neighborhood has grown up all around us. People often stop in for a look while they are walking past the hall. It can feel like a bit of a maze inside sometimes. We try to keep things in some kind of order, but when a new shipment arrives, it gets crowded fast. We just like working with furniture and it is what we know how to do. We are not big on fancy sales talk. We just show people what we have available on the floor. Most days, it is just us and the furniture. It is a comfortable place to spend the day.
