Oriental Engineering Co

Oriental Engineering Co is tucked away on Pune Satara Road, specifically at 47/3 C on the 12th Main Road in the 5th Phase. It’s a decent area for an engineering outfit because there are other workshops nearby, so you always hear the sound of metal or machines running somewhere down the street. We’ve been at this spot for a while, and the 5th Phase has changed quite a bit since we first moved in. There’s more traffic now, and finding a parking spot near the 12th Main can be a real headache some mornings. Our workshop isn't anything you’d call modern or flashy. It’s got oil on the floor in places and tools that have been used for years because they still work just fine. We don’t see the point in replacing things that aren't broken. Most of the guys here live nearby, so we walk or take a quick scooter ride to get in. We spend our days mostly looking at parts and trying to get the measurements right. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months, but we just open the doors and keep moving. There isn't much talk about big future plans here; we just take the jobs as they come and try to finish them without any major mistakes. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and being part of the Pune Satara Road community feels right for us.
