Orchid Enterprises

You can find Orchid Enterprises on the ground floor of Shripad Apartment. We are situated near Omkareshwar Chowk in Shaniwar Peth, right along the Athwa Majura Road. It’s a central spot, and we’ve been operating from Survey No 278 for quite a while now. The area is quite historic, so the streets are narrow and usually full of people. We deal in general supplies and some specialized items for local contractors. Our space isn't very big, but we make the most of it. There’s usually a pile of boxes near the entrance because we’re always receiving new stock. My dad started this, and I took over about five years ago. We don't bother with fancy displays or marketing gimmicks. People come to us because they know we have what they need at a fair price. The apartment building is easy to spot once you get to the chowk. We spend a lot of time chatting with neighbors and regulars who drop by. It’s a friendly atmosphere, even when we’re busy. We try to keep things tidy, but it's hard when you're moving heavy items all day. We aren't a big chain, just a local family-run business trying to do right by our customers. Most days we’re here from nine to seven. It’s a bit of a squeeze when a big shipment arrives, and we have to stack things carefully so we don't block the door. My daughter helps with the accounting in the evenings after she finishes her college work. We just provide a straightforward service.
