One Mobile Store

The shop is located over in Dhanakawadi 2nd Stage, specifically in the Indiranagar area. If you know the neighborhood, you probably pass by us quite often. One Mobile Store is a small room filled with glass cases and the smell of electronics. We open up around ten in the morning, sometimes a little later if the traffic is bad. Most of our day is spent looking at small screens or trying to find the right part for a phone that stopped working. The counters are usually covered with tools and small screws that are hard to see. We have a couple of stools where people wait while we check their devices. It’s a bit cramped inside, especially when three or four customers come in at once. The light from the ceiling is bright so we can see what we are doing with the small bits of hardware. Outside on the street, there are always bikes parked and people walking to the nearby markets. We keep the chargers and cases hanging on the walls to save space. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fan running at full speed. We don't do much fancy advertising or anything like that. Most people just find us because they live nearby or someone told them where we are. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day, just fixing what comes through the door and talking to the neighbors in Indiranagar. We keep a bottle of water on the counter and just keep at it until the sun goes down.
