We are located right in the middle of Bhawani Peth, which is always a bit of a chaotic place to be. If you’ve ever been down these streets, you know it’s full of metal shops and heavy trucks moving stuff around. Our place is no different. It’s a bit of a rugged environment, with stacks of metal and the smell of iron in the air. We don’t have a fancy showroom with glass windows. It’s more of a functional space where we load and unload whatever comes in. The floor is concrete and usually has some scuff marks from the heavy lifting. We spend our days measuring things out and helping people find the right pieces for whatever they are building or fixing. It’s hard work and your hands get dirty pretty fast. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything. Most of our business comes from people who just know we are here or were told about us by a friend. Sometimes we are so busy we can’t even stop for lunch on time, and other times it’s a bit slower and we just sit and chat. It’s a local business through and through. We know the other shop owners on the street and we all just try to get through the day. The address is simple, just Bhawani Peth, because everyone around here knows where the metal shops are. We just keep stacking the sheets and pipes, waiting for the next truck.
