Om Steel

Our shop is located on Sinhagad Road, right at the 53rd Cross on 6th Main. We occupy the 65/66 spot. It’s a busy corner of the neighborhood. Being in the steel business means our place is often full of heavy beams and metal scraps. We aren't trying to win any beauty contests with our storefront. It’s a working yard and a small office where we handle the orders. The air usually smells a bit like cut metal and machine oil. We’ve got a small crew of guys who have been handling steel for a long time. We know our way around the different grades and sizes. Most of our day is spent measuring, cutting, and loading trucks. It’s physically demanding work, but it’s what we know. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. People find us because we’ve been here on Sinhagad Road for years and they know we are reliable. Sometimes the yard gets a bit disorganized when a big shipment comes in, but we always find what we need eventually. We speak plainly to our customers. There’s no need for corporate jargon when you’re talking about steel. You either have the right piece or you don’t. We just try to keep enough stock on hand so people can get their jobs done. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and it keeps our small team quite occupied through the year.
