Om Steel Enterprises

Om Steel Enterprises is based out of shops 1 and 2 in Savitri Apartment. We are right on Nehru Nagar Road in Pimpri, which is a fairly busy area. If you look across the street, you will see Dr. Beck & Co., so that is a good landmark if you are looking for us. Having two units side-by-side gives us enough room to keep our steel stock and still have a little space for the desk. The sidewalk out front is usually busy with people walking to the local shops or waiting for the bus. We spend a lot of our time out on the floor, moving pipes and sheets around for customers. It is dusty work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. The building is older, but it is solid. We like the location because everything we need is close by. We have been here in Pimpri for a while, so we know a lot of the local contractors and builders who stop in. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just talk shop, figure out what someone needs, and get it loaded up. Sometimes we have a little backlog of orders, but we work through them as fast as we can. There’s no big marketing team here, just us making sure the inventory is right and the customers are looked after. It is a simple, honest way to make a living. We try to keep things organized even when it gets hectic, because that’s the only way to stay on top.
