Om Mobile

I set up Om Mobile here in Viman Nagar because the area was growing so fast and everyone seemed to have a cracked screen or a battery that wouldn't hold a charge. It’s not a huge showroom with glass walls and bright lights. It’s just a regular shop where you can get your phone fixed or find a decent cover. I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter with a tiny screwdriver and a magnifying glass. People drop their phones off on their way to work and hope I can have it ready by the evening. Sometimes the parts take a day or two to arrive, and I have to call them and explain the delay. I don't like overcomplicating things. If a phone is too old to fix, I'll just tell you straight so you don't waste your money. Viman Nagar is a nice place to work, though parking can be a real headache for my customers. I've got a lot of students coming in from the nearby colleges looking for cheap chargers or headphones. I try to keep those in stock. It’s just me and sometimes my cousin helping out when things get backed up. We don't have a website or anything, people just find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. The street food outside smells great in the evenings.
