Om Ganpati Pan Shop

Swargate is a hectic part of town and being in J P Nagar means we see a lot of different people. Some are just passing through the city and others have lived here their whole lives. Our shop, Om Ganpati Pan Shop, is just a humble little spot on the corner. I wake up early to get everything ready because once the morning rush starts, there isn't much time to sit down. We keep all the jars lined up so I can reach everything quickly. The smell of the different spices is something you get used to after a while. I like it when the weather is a bit cloudy because it’s not so stifling inside the shop. We have some old wooden stools for people who want to stay a minute, but most just grab their stuff and go. It’s a lot of repetitive work, folding the leaves just right so they don't leak. My fingers get a bit stiff by the end of the shift. We don't have a website or any of that. If you want a pan, you just come find us. The neighbors are nice and we often share tea in the afternoons when things slow down. It’s just how things are around here. We try to keep the prices fair so everyone can afford a little treat. It’s a decent way to make a living and support my family without too much stress. We stay open late most nights to catch the last crowd.
