Om Communication

You can find Om Communication over in Khadki New Bazar, specifically at Khadki 72/12. This area is always buzzing with people shopping for groceries or clothes, so our shop gets a fair bit of foot traffic. We’ve been set up here for a good while, mostly helping folks with their mobile phones and sim cards. It’s the kind of place where the counter is always covered with chargers and phone cases. We don’t really have a fancy layout; it’s more about being able to reach the tools we need quickly. Sometimes the internet is slow or a customer is in a big hurry, which keeps things interesting. Working in New Bazar means there’s never a quiet moment. We’ve got the 72/12 spot which is quite easy to find if you’re familiar with the market layout. A lot of our day involves explaining how certain features work to older folks or swapping out batteries that have given up. We don’t put on airs here. It’s just us doing our job and making sure people can stay connected. The shop feels like home because we spend more time here than anywhere else. We’ve seen the market change a lot, but we stay put at our little desk. It is a humble way to make a living, and being right in the heart of Khadki makes us feel connected to everyone around.
