Om Ayurvdic Clinic

You can find Om Ayurvdic Clinic inside Paramesh Plaza, at number 1213 in Sadashiv Peth. We are actually located right above the Anandi Dining Hall. If you follow the smell of good food, you’ll usually find the stairs up to us. The plaza itself is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but once you find the right floor, we are right there. The clinic has a very specific smell, mostly because of all the oils and herbs we keep in the back rooms. It’s a lot of wooden shelves and small glass jars. We’ve been in Sadashiv Peth for quite some time now. The street outside, Manikbag Sinhagad Road, is always packed with people and traffic, but our space stays relatively peaceful. We spend a lot of time preparing different mixtures and talking to people who come in looking for something traditional. It’s a slow process, not like those big modern hospitals. We sit with people and listen to what’s bothering them. Sometimes the fans on the ceiling squeak a bit, and we have to remind ourselves to get them fixed. The dining hall downstairs gets really busy around lunchtime, so the building can get a bit noisy then. We are just a small team here, doing things the way they’ve been done for a long time. It’s a simple life in a busy part of Pune, and we like it that way.
