You can find us at Shukrawar Peth in Pune. Our office for Olydream Labs is in Kashinath Apartments, specifically Flat No. 3. This is an older part of the city, so the streets are narrow and always full of life. The building is address 1309. It’s not one of those new IT parks with a gym and a cafeteria. We have a small space that we’ve made our own. There are shelves filled with old manuals and pieces of hardware that we might use one day. We usually have the windows open to let some air in, though it brings in the street noise too. Working in Shukrawar Peth has a different feel than the newer suburbs. It’s more grounded. We take our breaks at the local spots nearby. Inside the flat, things are a bit cramped but we manage. Everyone has their own corner. We don't have a receptionist, so the phone just rings until someone picks it up. It’s a very human way of doing things. We focus on the work at hand without much fuss. The lighting isn't the best, so we have a few extra lamps around. It’s just a group of us trying to make things work in this little lab space. Parking is a nightmare around Shukrawar Peth, so most of us just take the bus or walk. The apartment has that old building smell, but you get used to it. It’s a real, lived-in space.
