Octapace

We are over at 21 2Janaki Ben Housing Society in Sector 27. Pradhikaran is a decent part of Nigdi to be in, and being inside the housing society makes it feel a bit more like a home than a regular workplace. Pune has grown so much lately, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. Most days, it's just a few of us sitting around the table with our laptops and a lot of notebooks. We don't have any fancy signage or a big lobby to wait in. If you come to see us, you’re basically walking into our daily lives. Sometimes the neighbors are walking their dogs outside while we are trying to figure out a tough part of a project. It’s quiet enough that we can actually get things done without too much distraction. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we like the convenience of being close to everything in Nigdi. It’s not about looking important for us; it’s just about having a steady place to show up to every morning. We drink a lot of tea and sometimes talk too much about things that aren't work, but we always finish what we started. It’s a small operation, and we prefer it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. We’re just regular people trying to make a living in a city that’s always moving. There is always something to fix or a plan to finish.
