Obili Pure Veg

If you go down L G Food Road in Hadapsar, you will find us in the 1st stage area near Tavarekere 21. We have been doing pure veg food here for a long time. It is a no-frills kind of place. We don't have air conditioning or soft chairs. Most people come here because they want a quick lunch that doesn't cost too much. We chop all the vegetables ourselves every morning. You can hear the sound of the knives hitting the boards from the street. The kitchen is small and we often bump into each other when it gets crowded. We serve everything on steel plates that have seen better days. It is a very busy street and sometimes the dust from the road comes inside. We just wipe the tables and keep moving. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have worked together for years. We know what most of our regulars want before they even sit down. It is a simple routine that we follow every day. We don't have any secret recipes or special tricks. We just cook what we know how to cook. The day usually ends late after we have cleaned up all the pots and pans for the next morning. It's just a regular veg hotel in a busy neighborhood. Sometimes the fans don't work well when it is really hot outside, but the customers don't seem to mind much.
