Nucare Hospital

We are located on Baner Road, right across from the Orchid School. If you know that area of Pune, you know how busy it gets when school lets out. Our hospital is a steady fixture in the neighborhood. We’ve been here long enough that the local auto drivers know exactly where to drop people off. The building has a few floors, and we try to keep things as organized as possible, though the front desk can get a bit chaotic on Monday mornings. It’s a local hospital, so we see everything from small bumps to more serious stuff. The rooms are basic but they do the job. We have a small canteen nearby where the staff grabs snacks, and sometimes the smell of tea drifts into the hallways. It’s a practical place, not one of those fancy hospitals you see in magazines. We just focus on the people coming in through the doors. The staff here stays for years, so we all know each other’s habits and how we work best together. We aren't trying to be anything other than a reliable place for the folks living in Baner. Most of our day is spent updating charts and talking to families. The waiting area has these blue chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for a short stay. We have a lot of plants near the entrance that I try to water every morning, though I forget sometimes. It's a place where you'll see people from all walks of life.
