Nokia Mobile Money

Nokia Mobile Money is right on the busy Fergusson College Road. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with all the students and the people going to the shops and cafes. We have a very small space here where we help people with their mobile recharges and sending money back to their families in other towns. It’s mostly just a counter and a couple of stools. The phone is always buzzing with messages and notifications throughout the day. We also sell some basic mobile accessories like earphones and screen guards because the students are always dropping their phones on the pavement. Being on FC Road means there is never a quiet moment. We see all kinds of people coming through the door from early in the morning until we close up at night. The rent is high in this part of town so we have to stay busy to make it work. Sometimes the internet connection gets slow and we have to ask customers to wait a few minutes while we restart the system. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations, just the name on the board out front. We keep a small fan going behind the counter because it gets stuffy with so many people passing by. It’s a fast-paced little shop but we’ve gotten pretty good at handling the rush.
