Nitoda Steels

Over at Nitoda Steels, we spend our time surrounded by metal. Our place is at 139/A/1 Bhawani Peth, quite close to Ramoshi Gate. If you know the area, you know it’s a place where a lot of heavy work happens. The sound of steel clanging is pretty much the soundtrack to our lives here. We have all sorts of rods, sheets, and bits of steel stacked up. It’s not a clean job, our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the day. But we don't mind. We’ve been in Bhavani Peth for a long time. People come to us when they need materials for building things or fixing up their shops. We don't have a website or any of that stuff, we just talk to people when they walk in. The street outside is narrow and can get really crowded with carts and trucks. Sometimes it’s a struggle just to get a delivery vehicle in and out. We keep things straightforward. You tell us what you need, we see if we have it, and we weigh it out. It’s how business has been done here for years. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide the steel that people in the neighborhood need. It’s a tough business but it’s what we know. We stay open late sometimes if there’s work to finish. It is just the way we have always worked.
