Nishigandha Caterering Services

We operate Nishigandha Caterering Services out of E-15 in the Market Yard area. Being in 411037 means we are right near where all the fresh produce comes in, which is handy for us. This isn't a sit-down place where you can come for a meal. Instead, we spend our time in the back, cooking in huge quantities for whatever event we have on the books. It's a lot of physical labor, moving heavy crates and stirring giant pots for hours. My hands are usually stained from spices or sore from chopping. We don't have a fancy website or a salesperson. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they saw our van at another event. We try to be honest about what we can do. If we are fully booked, we say so. We don't want to take on more than we can handle and then do a bad job. The Market Yard is a busy, dusty place, and we fit right in. We start our work while most people are still sleeping, getting things ready so they can be delivered by noon. It's not an easy way to make a living, but it's what we've been doing for years. We just focus on the food and getting the orders right. There's no corporate philosophy here, just a lot of cooking and cleaning. Sometimes the rain makes the Market Yard real muddy, and that makes loading the van a pain. We just put on our boots and get on with it.
