Nisha Mobile

I spend most of my day here at Nisha Mobile on Sinhagad Road. It is right in B Block near the Connection Point. The traffic on Airport Road is usually pretty loud but you get used to it after a few months. I usually get here around ten in the morning and start by cleaning the glass counters because the dust from the road gets everywhere. People stop by for all sorts of things, mostly looking for a charger or asking if I can fix a cracked screen on their phone. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just sit and wait for the screen to load while we talk about the weather or the road construction nearby. It’s not a big fancy place, just a regular shop with some stools for people to sit on while they wait. My cousin helps me out in the afternoons when it gets a bit busier with the office crowd heading home. We keep some basic covers and screen guards in the drawers. The light in the shop is a bit bright because of the overhead tubes but it helps me see the tiny screws when I’m opening up a handset. Most people around here know us by now since we’ve been at this spot for a while. We don’t have a big sign, just the name on the front and some posters. By the time it’s eight or nine at night, I’m ready to lock up and head back home.
