Nirzar Nursary

Nirzar Nursary is tucked away at A/2, Godavari Apt in Bhosalenagar, right in the Shivajinagar area. It is not one of those massive garden centers you see on the highway, but more of a local spot where we handle a lot of plants and dirt. Being in an apartment building means space is always a bit tight, so we have pots and saplings lining almost every available inch of the walkway. The sun hits the front area pretty hard in the afternoons, so we spend a good chunk of our time dragging hoses around and making sure nothing wilts too badly. Shivajinagar can get quite noisy with the traffic, but once you step inside where the green is, it feels a little different. We started this because we liked being around plants, and it just grew into a full-time job. Some days are just about mixing soil and scrubbing old plastic pots to reuse them. We get a lot of locals dropping by asking what will grow on their small balconies, and we usually have to tell them that the heat here is tough for certain flowers. It is a messy job, really. Our hands are almost always stained with mud, and there is usually a pile of dead leaves in the corner waiting to be cleared out. It is just how things go when you are working with nature in the middle of a busy city like this.
