Our place is over at 7 Ex Serviceman Colony. It’s a bit quieter than the main industrial hubs, which is nice when you need to focus on things. The colony has a certain feel to it, mostly residential but with a few of us tucked away in different spots. Being at number 7 means we’re easy to find once you get inside the gates. The building is simple, just a few rooms where we keep our equipment and desks. We don’t have big signs or flashing lights out front. Most days, it’s just the sound of fans humming and the occasional car driving past outside. We usually bring lunch from home and eat together in the small back area. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything fancy. There are some trees nearby that give a bit of shade in the afternoons, which helps keep the place from getting too hot during the summer months. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to chat for a minute if they see us outside. It feels more like a community than a business park. We’ve been here for a while and have no real reason to move. The space fits what we do, and it’s a decent enough place to spend eight or nine hours a day. It’s practical, honest, and gets the job done without any extra fuss. There’s usually someone around until late evening, just finishing up the last few bits of work before heading home.
