You can find us at Nirankari Furniture in Kurla West. We are situated on L B S Marg in the Kalewadi area, quite close to the Dhangerbaba Mandir. Kurla is always a bit chaotic, and this street is no exception. There’s constant noise from the traffic and people walking by. Our shop is filled with the smell of sawdust and wood polish. We have sofas, chairs, and cupboards squeezed into every available inch of space. It’s a bit of a maze walking through here. I spend a lot of time moving things around to show people different pieces. The light in the shop isn't the best, but it's where we work every day. Being near the mandir is nice; you can hear the bells sometimes during the day. We are a local furniture spot, not one of those big malls. Most of our stuff is made right here or nearby. The floor is usually covered in little wood shavings. I’ve been working here for a long time, and I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. But people always need a good bed or a sturdy table. We keep things simple. We don't have a glossy catalog. You just come in, look at what we have, and we talk about the price. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. The heat in Kurla can be tough in the afternoons, but the fans keep us going. It's just a regular furniture shop for regular people. We stay busy with the local crowd.
