We set up shop over at the Malhar Industrial Estate in Wagholi. Being on the Pune-Nagar Road means there are always trucks passing by and a lot of dust in the air. Newage Agritech Pvt. Ltd. isn't a huge place, just a decent-sized unit where we keep our supplies. It’s mostly concrete and metal shelving inside. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by Priyanka Nagari, you’ll probably find us in the back or looking at some paperwork near the window. The lights flicker sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to it. We handle the day-to-day stuff ourselves, from loading things to answering the mobile. It’s hard work, and the commute on this road can be a real headache some days. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the stock is where it belongs. There’s a tea stall down the street where we go when things get a bit too hectic. It’s a practical way to run a business. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or leather chairs. The floor is stained from the stuff we move around, but that shows we’re actually working. We are just a group of people trying to make a living in the agritech sector without making a big fuss about it. We stay busy and keep the gates open during the week because there is always something to finish.
