New Tirupati Cellulars

If you find yourself near Pimpri Burudi Pool Chowk, you’ll see our shop, New Tirupati Cellulars. It’s a small space, mostly taken up by glass counters filled with screen guards and phone covers. We started this because everyone in Pimpri seems to have a cracked phone screen or a battery that won’t hold a charge anymore. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a blue sign and some old posters. Most of our day is spent hunched over a workbench with tiny screwdrivers and magnifying glasses. It’s tedious work, especially when the parts are small and the lighting isn’t perfect. We also sell recharges and those cheap earphones that kids like. The traffic at the chowk is always loud, so we usually have the radio playing to drown it out. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions or to use the charger for five minutes because their phone died. We don’t mind. It’s a local business, so we talk to whoever walks in. The 41308 area has a lot of mobile shops, but we’ve been here long enough that people trust us not to mess up their devices. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open the shutters at ten and stay until the market closes down. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We mostly just focus on fixing things that are broken and getting people back on their way.
