If you are driving along the Bypass Road in Kharadi, you will probably see us near the Reliance Smart. That’s the easiest way to tell people where we are. We deal with steel, so our location has to be easy for big trucks to access. The yard is usually quite busy with people loading up sections of metal for different projects. We’ve been at this spot for some time now and have watched Kharadi change a lot with all the new buildings going up. Our office is just a simple cabin on one side of the lot. It’s got a desk, a couple of chairs, and stacks of invoices piled up. We don't go in for anything fancy because the real work happens outside among the stacks of steel. The dust from the road is a bit of a nuisance, but we’ve gotten used to it. We start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. Most of our day is spent measuring and checking the weight of the steel being sold. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We have some regular customers who come by often, and we usually have a quick chat while the loading is finished. It’s a bit noisy with the sound of metal clanging together, but that’s just the sound of a normal day for us here on the bypass.
