New Mayur Mobiles

The shop is tucked away at Pimpri Colony, right at the backside entry near 105. It’s not the biggest place, but we managed to fit a lot of glass counters inside to show off the phones and chargers. Most of the time, the air smells a bit like solder from when we are fixing motherboards or replacing screens. It can get a little crowded in here when three or four people are waiting for their SIM cards to activate or looking for a specific case for an old model. Finding the door can be tricky for some folks because of how the building is set up, but once you find the back entry, we’re right there. We spend a lot of time looking at tiny screws and trying to get dust out from under screen protectors. It’s tedious work but it keeps us busy throughout the day. The shelves are mostly filled with boxes of different brands, some new and some that have been there a bit too long. We have a small stool in the corner for when someone needs to wait for a quick repair. The lighting inside is pretty bright so we can see the small parts clearly. Outside, you can hear the usual colony noise, kids playing or people talking. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever phone is on the desk. Sometimes we run out of change in the morning. It’s just a normal way to spend the day.
