New Digital World 3

This shop is the third one we opened, and it is located on Lady Curzon Road 4 in the Dhanakawadi area. It is a bit different from the other two because this street is always moving. We have all sorts of digital bits and pieces, like memory cards, headphones, and those little lights that plug into your laptop. The space inside is narrow, so we had to build the shelves all the way up to the ceiling. I have to use a small step ladder to reach the stuff on the top rows. Sometimes people come in asking for things we have never heard of, and we have to look it up. The floor is made of gray tiles that show every bit of dirt, so we are always cleaning. We don't have a big staff, usually just me or my nephew sitting behind the counter. We get a lot of students from the nearby hostels who need their chargers replaced or want a cheap pair of earphones. The noise from Lady Curzon Road is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. We stay open on Sundays for half a day because that is when people have time to come out and browse. It’s not a very fancy operation, just a place where you can find what you need for your gadgets without a lot of fuss. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized in such a small shop.
