Sahakarnagar is one of those parts of Pune that still feels like an actual neighborhood. Our office at Neilsoft Ltd, located at 729 Sahakarnagar near Padmavati, is right in the heart of it. It’s a residential area, so you don't get that cold, commercial feeling here. You hear the vegetable vendors calling out in the mornings and the sound of scooters buzzing by. The building is older, with that solid construction you don’t see as much anymore. We are on a street that gets quite a lot of shade from the big old trees, which is a blessing in the summer. Inside, it’s pretty simple. We’ve got our computers and some stacks of paper that really should be filed away better. We don’t have a receptionist or a big fancy waiting room. If someone drops by, they usually just pull up a spare chair. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we do stay busy. Sometimes we walk over to the Padmavati temple area just to stretch our legs. Pune 411009 has a certain charm to it, and we feel lucky to be working away from the noisy main highways. It’s a place where you can actually hear yourself think. We’ve had the same desks for years, and they’ve got the scratches to prove it. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do a decent job every day.
