Neelima

We’ve been here at Deccan Gymkhana for a while now. Most people know the Citilight area, it’s pretty busy but we like it here. Neelima is just us doing what we do every day. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular place where we get our work done. Sometimes it gets crowded outside, especially in the evenings when everyone is out and about, but that’s just how this part of town is. We started out small and stayed that way because it works for us. You won't find any shiny brochures or polished sales pitches here. We just handle the day-to-day stuff that comes our way. People stop by when they’re in the neighborhood, often just to say hello or ask a quick question. It’s easy to find if you know the landmark, but we don't mind giving directions over the phone. We don't spend much time on the internet or making things look perfect for the cameras. We’d rather just talk to people face-to-face over a cup of tea. The shop has been the same for years, maybe it needs a bit of paint on the walls, but it feels like home to us. If you're walking around Deccan, you've probably passed us plenty of times without even realizing it. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the business going and seeing familiar faces. It’s a quiet life mostly, besides the constant traffic noise. We open up in the morning, do the work, and close up when it's time to head home.
