We run our catering business out of the Diwane Building in Datta Nagar. It's right behind the police station in Alandi Devachi, so it is a quiet enough spot until we get the stoves going for a big order. My family and a few neighbors help out with the cooking and packing. We’ve been doing this in Dighi for a few years now, mostly handling local events or small gatherings where people need a lot of food all at once. It’s a lot of work getting everything loaded into the vans, and sometimes we’re up pretty early to make sure things stay fresh. We don’t really do much advertising; mostly people just hear about us from someone else in the area. The kitchen isn't huge, but we make it work by staying organized. We handle all the prep right here in the building. It gets a bit hot in the summer, but we’re used to it by now. We just try to get the orders right and delivered on time. It's not a flashy business, just a lot of chopping, cooking, and washing dishes. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy to get to different neighborhoods from here. If you need food for a lot of people, we’re usually around the shop working on something or other.
