Natraj Metal Mart

We are located in Raviwar Peth, and the address says Lokhandwala (Andheri) 666, which can be a bit confusing for some people who aren't from around here. Natraj Metal Mart is basically a warehouse and shop full of all sorts of metal goods. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, with stacks of pipes and sheets leaning against the walls. We don't have a showroom with fancy displays. You just walk in and tell us what you need, and we go find it in the back. It’s a dusty place, and you’ll probably get some grease on your hands if you start touching things. My father started this place, and I’ve been working here since I was a teenager. We don't do any big advertising. Most of our customers are builders or local handymen who have been coming to us for years. They know we have what they need at a fair price. We don't have a computer system to track everything; we mostly just remember where things are or check the old ledgers. It’s a very old-fashioned way of running a business, but it works for us. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the regulars while we wait for deliveries to arrive. It’s loud and busy, but that’s the way a metal mart should be. We just provide the materials and get on with our day.
