Nanda Stores

Nanda Stores is located inside Mukund Bhavan, which is house number 1105 in Raviwar Peth. We are right near the Someshwar Mandir, so you can often hear the temple bells from our shop. It is a nice part of Pune to be in, even though it is very crowded most of the time. We have been here for a lot of years. The shop is not anything special to look at from the outside, but we have everything arranged inside so we can find things quickly. Most of our day is spent helping people who live in the neighborhood. We do not do any big marketing or have a social media page. We just rely on people knowing where we are and what we have. It is a small team here, mostly just family and one or two helpers. We know most of our customers by their faces, if not their names. It makes the work feel a bit more personal. Sometimes the rain gets into the front of the shop during the monsoon, so we have to move things around. It is just part of the daily grind. We are not trying to be the biggest store in Pune. We are just happy to be here in Raviwar Peth, doing our bit and keeping the business going. We open up early and close when the street finally goes quiet. It is a steady way to live for us.
