Nakoda Mobile & Accessories

Budhwar Peth 10 is a crowded area, and our shop Nakoda Mobile & Accessories is right in the middle of that hustle. It is a narrow place filled with phone covers of every color you can think of. We have tempered glass, batteries, and all those little connectors that people are always looking for. The shop gets quite cramped when more than three people come in at once. We usually have the radio playing softly or just the sound of the street coming in. It is a very old part of the city, so the buildings are close together and the lanes are thin. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases because fingerprints get everywhere. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning; we just have a small wall fan that works most of the time. People come in looking for a cheap cover or a sturdy cable. We show them what we have on the hooks. Sometimes we have to dig through boxes in the back to find a specific model. That’s just part of the daily routine. We’ve seen many types of phones come and go over the years. Being at number 10 means we get a lot of foot traffic from people just wandering through the market. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next person to walk in, chatting with the other shopkeepers.
