Nagnath Provision

Nagnath Provision is located on Shirole Road in the Deccan Gymkhana area of Pune. We are very close to the main gate of FC College, so we see a lot of students all the time. They are always in a hurry, buying pens or snacks between their classes. The shop is at Sr No 1202 and it has been a part of this street for a long time. Pune has grown so much, but this corner still feels familiar to us. We keep a variety of provisions, mostly things that the local residents and the hostel kids need. The shelves are packed with biscuits, soaps, and bags of flour. It can get quite cramped inside, especially when a delivery truck is unloading outside and blocking the entrance. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just me and a couple of others who handle the customers and the stocks. Sometimes we lose track of time and realize it is late evening already. The noise from the college gate is constant, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We don't try to impress anyone with fancy talk. We just sell what we have and try to keep the place somewhat organized. If we don't have something, we usually know who else on the street might have it. It’s a good neighborhood to be in.
