Mutha General Stores

Mutha General Stores is located right next to the Vaishali Hotel in Deccan Gymkhana. People around Umarwada usually know where we are because of that landmark. It is a small place but we have been here a while now. Most days it is just us keeping track of what people need for their kitchens or their kids' snacks. We don’t really have a big team or anything fancy. It's just a shop where you can stop by when you’re out getting dinner or walking through the area. Sometimes the street gets a bit busy because of the hotel traffic, but that’s just how it is around here. We try to keep things stocked up so nobody has to go too far for the basics. If you live in Deccan Gymkhana, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times. We don’t do much advertising or anything like that. People just know us from word of mouth. It isn't a big supermarket, just a regular general store with the usual stuff you’d expect to find. We open up early and stay until the evening. Sometimes things get a bit messy on the shelves when it's busy, but we get around to fixing it eventually. Dealing with the daily crowd is just part of the job. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just running the shop and making sure the neighborhood has a place to grab a few things. It’s a simple life at 41616.
