Mulshi Green Farmer Producer Company

Our little spot is located at Antop Hill in Wadala. Specifically, we are at Panand Wadi, in the R 100/1-4 area. It's a bit crowded around here, but Khandu S Kamble makes sure everything stays organized. Being a farmer producer company in the middle of a place like Mumbai feels a bit different. We handle a lot of the coordination from here. There’s always noise from the street outside and people passing by the ground floor office. It isn’t a big shiny building, just a practical space where we can talk and get things done. We deal with farmers from the Mulshi area even though our main office is in this zopadpatti part of Wadala. Sometimes the paperwork gets piled up on the desk, but we clear it eventually. We drink a lot of tea while we figure out the logistics for the month. It’s about getting the green produce from the fields to where it needs to go. Life in Antop Hill is fast, but we try to keep our focus on the farming side of things. It's a lot of phone calls and checking prices. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the business. Everyone puts in their hours. We just want to make sure the farmers get a fair shake at the end of the day. It is how Mulshi Green Farmer Producer Company manages to keep going despite the distance from the fields.
